For Officers or Instructors of cadets who have completed additional 5-year periods of qualifying service after an initial 15 years.
The clasp is struck in cupronickel, featuring the relevant Royal Cypher in the centre, flanked by sprigs of wattle.
- EIIR cypher — applies to personnel qualifying for any clasps before 6 May 2023.
- CRIII cypher — applies to personnel qualifying for any clasps after 6 May 2023.
When the ribbon is worn alone, clasps are indicated by nickel-plated round rosettes. On the fifth award, a silver miniature Federation Star replaces the rosettes. Each additional Federation Star represents a further five years’ service.
