CAUTION: Original medals are irreplaceable. Caretaker best practice is expert restoration with secure storage away from direct sunlight and humidity, with regular degradation checks. Foxhole replicas are of the highest quality and can be worn with pride, without risk.

Bespoke curated service for each individual medal with museum-conservation-standard handling, restoration, and remounting including:

❖ specialist dismantling techniques and equipment to minimise damage risk to medal and any original ribbon

❖ ultrasonic clean to preserve patina and aged look of medal where possible

❖ new ribbon length returning any original ribbon for heirloom purposes

❖ expert swing-mounting, and

❖ correct order of wear for ribbon and medal placement in accordance with official H&A guidelines.

NOTE: Foxhole takes a traditional conservative approach and strives to preserve patina.  Specialist chemical cleaning attracts an additional fee and will only be recommended if critical to preserving medal condition, or where a mixed set of original and new replica medals reflects a complete and up-to-date entitlement.
