The Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) Long Service Medal is awarded to members (Career and Volunteer), as well as TFS Employed Tasmanian State Service Award (TSSA) staff, who have completed a decade of diligent service to TFS.
Additional clasps are awarded for every ten years of service, but are not cumulative. The clasps bear the year of accrued service, such as 20, 30, 40, 50, etc., and are affixed centrally to the medal's ribbon. Corresponding rosettes are worn on the ribbon bars.
